AFAB gets award for blockchain initiative

THE Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan's (AFAB) partnership with iWave Advanced Research Group Inc. on its Oz Flagship Ecozone initiative won the Global Blockchain Technologies Award.

iWave Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Ramon Garcia Jr. thanked the iWAR team saying, "Few people understand our vision and capabilities in the Philippines. However, this global award is a recognition of our globally competitive technical knowledge, and a testament to the boundless possibilities for locally developed digital and blockchain-enabled products."

Oz's vision is to host a network of thriving Oz ecozones around the world in providing a safe haven for assets while fully harnessing the power and convenience of digital technology and assets to enable residency, trade and finance. The Freeport Area of Bataan is the first ecozone to provide "Oz Living" by being part of the Oz Finance global community.

With its crypto coin TOTOZ, Oz token holders may apply for Oz Living with any member ecozone should their staked TOTOZ reach $75,000 or $100,000 in value to gain access to tax incentives, residency rights and privacy protections that come with the "Oz Living" program.

"We will continue to work with providing users and project owners with easy to use, simple and effective blockchain technology solutions built upon our proprietary Oz blockchain protocol. With our open collaboration philosophy, we are inviting all manner of projects that wish to implement blockchain technology to execute within the environments of an ecozone to work with Oz," said Jin Gonzalez, Oz founder and Global Trade Exchange (GTX) co-founder.

In addition, with the passing of the Republic Act 11453 and the GTX registering TOTOZ, this partnership becomes a template for all ecozones to follow where registered Oz members may enjoy its full benefits.
