A farmer's daughter from Lasam town, Querubin said she was inspired by her parents who worked hard to get her to college.

"What motivates me to stay in the government as a public servant for almost three decades and counting is knowing that I'm doing a part, in my own little way, in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of drugs and medicines being made available to the public," she added.

Querubin obtained both her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Master of Science in Pharmacy at CEU Manila.

She is currently the Food-Drug Regulation Officer 7 of the Product Research and Standards Development Division, Center for Drug Regulation and Research of the FDA.

Querubin manages policy and standards development, clinical trials, pharmaco-vigilance and post-marketing surveillance.
