Las Marias named new Filinvest Land president

FILINVEST Development Corp. (FDC) President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Josephine Gotianun-Yap has passed on the reins of leadership of its real estate subsidiary to Chief Strategy Officer Tristan Las Marias, with the announcement of his ascension as president of Filinvest Land.

"Tristan Las Marias has played a pivotal role in strengthening our property segment and has made valuable contributions in its geographic expansion to 12 new areas around the country. He shares our same vision and has been instrumental in Filinvest Land's continued commitment to serve the underserved markets," Gotianun-Yap said.

Gotianun-Yap retains her position as Filinvest Land CEO while concurrently serving as president and CEO of FDC, one of the country's largest conglomerates with interests in real estate, banking, power and utilities, hospitality and infrastructure.

She added that Las Marias led the company's accelerated transformation toward digitization and the supporting of communities we are in through relief and community corporate social responsibility programs through the Pusong Filinvest program. He was also behind the company's growth in residential revenues all around the country as he was behind Filinvest Land's push to the Visayas and Mindanao.

"We are grateful for his brand of leadership and I look forward to working with him as chief executive officer of Filinvest Land to further bolster our real estate segment," Gotianun-Yap said.

Meanwhile, Las Marias is thankful for the appointment to his new position and is fully committed to continuing the company's legacy.
