LPA spotted near Surigao del Sur
A low pressure area (LPA) spotted near Surigao del Sur will bring rain to the country until Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Sunday.
The LPA was seen 195 kilometers east of Hinatuan in Surigao del Sur at 3 a.m.
Although it has a low chance of developing into a storm, it could bring rain in the Caraga region, Visayas, and Mimaropa until Tuesday.
The weather bureau said the public can expect an enhancement of the southwest monsoon (Habagat) in parts of Luzon, Visayas, and the western section of Mindanao until the end of June.
