UP Diliman posts 100% passing rate in July 2022 Master Plumber Licensure Exam

THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 1,900 examinees out of 3,705 passed the July 2022 Master Plumber Licensure Examination.

The top-performing school for the examination with 15 or more examinees and at least 80 percent passing rate was the University of the Philippines Diliman after 19 out of 19 examinees passed (100 percent passing rate).

This was followed by Camarines Norte State College-Daet with 15 passers out of 18 examinees (83.33 percent passing rate) and Catanduanes State University Virac with 19 passers out of 23 examinees (82.61 percent passing rate).

Meanwhile, Michaelle Angela Arnedo from the University of San Carlos led the batch of new master plumbers with an 87.20 percent rating in the examination.

The July 2022 Master Plumber Licensure Exam was held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, and Tacloban. The results were released six working days after the last day of exams.

Members of the Board of Master Plumbers who gave the licensure test were Chairman Reynald Ilagan, and Members Pedrito Camilet Jr. and Jaime Jajay Cruz.

Successful examinees may register online for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration from August 26, August 30 to September 2.

They are also reminded to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

PRC said that the date and venue for the oath taking ceremony of new master plumbers will be announced at a later date.
