Robredo woos Camarines Norte, Sorsogon, makes pitch for Pangilinan

VICE President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo on Wednesday sought support from voters in Camarines Norte and Sorsogon for the 2022 elections.

In her message in Daet, Robredo said that she got many votes from Camarines Norte when she ran for vice president in 2016.

"Kaya po kung wala 'yung tulong niyong 'yun hindi po sana ako nagwagi bilang pangalawang pangulo. Kaya parehong pagsuporta po 'yung hihingiin ko sa inyo ngayong darating na eleksyon pero may dagdag po 'yung aking pakiusap, na kung ako po tutulungan niyo, sana po tulungan niyo din si Senator Kiko Pangilinan bilang vice president dahil mas marami po akong magagawa kung siya 'yung ka-partner na ibibigay niyo sa akin", Robredo said.

(So without your help, I would not have become vice president. So I ask for the same support this coming elections but with an addition, that if you will help me, please also help Senator Kiko Pangilinan for vice president because I will be able to do more if he is the partner whom you will give me.)

She also rallied support for the Robredo-Pangilinan Senate slate.

Robredo also went to Gubat, Sorsogon on Wednesday.
