Yakult PH breaks ground for MisOr plant

TOGETHER with Mayor Edgar Lignes of El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, Yakult Philippines Inc. (YPI) President Alberto Dy Sun led the groundbreaking ceremony of the Yakult El Salvador (YES) plant in Barangay Quibonbon.

The event was also attended by the executives of YPI and CCT Constructors Corp.

The project, which started in 2021, is set to rise on a 4.2-hectare property, considerably larger than the plant located in Calamba, Laguna.

The YES plant is meant to fulfill the demand for the iconic drink and start the expansion of its production to the Visayas and Mindanao. It targets to significantly increase the total daily product production of both Yakult original and the Yakult Light.
